Today's main activity is to visit Cangshan Mountain. It is recommended to choose the Grand Cable Car to go up the mountain, and feel the unpredictable changes of the clouds and mist in the mountains on the Grand Cable Car. As the cable car gradually rises, you can overlook the entire Erhai Lake. If it is in May or June, you can see the azaleas all over the mountain at the end of the Grand Cable Car - Ximatan. Then you can go north along the Yudai Road, playing and walking along the way.

Cangshan Mountain

Take the No. 4 bus in the Ancient City or take a taxi to the foot of Cangshan Mountain, then you can choose to walk or take a shuttle bus to the lower station of the cable car; if you choose to walk, you need to go out of the West Gate of the Ancient City, and it will take about 20 minutes on foot to reach the lower station of the cable car. There are two ways to get to the top of Cangshan Mountain: by cable car or by walking along the mountain trail. There are three cable cars: Gantong Cable Car, Zhonghe Cable Car, and Cangshan Grand Cable Car. The cable cars do not interconnect, and the lower stations are not in the same place, each reaching Qingbi Stream on the waist of the mountain, Zhonghe Temple, and Ximatan. Here it is recommended to choose to take the Grand Cable Car, as it is the longest and naturally has the best scenery. If you have enough time and physical strength, you can also choose to go up the mountain on foot. There is a mountain trail built on the west side of the Tianlong Babu Film City, which is also the route for local people to exercise in the morning. The stone steps of the trail are very smooth, and it takes about 1 hour to reach the Yudai Road (near Fengyan Cave), first go north for about 2 kilometers to Zhonghe Temple, then turn back and go south to play in Ximatan, Qilongnv Pool, etc. After that, you can return the same way, or you can return via the Gantong Cable Car.

It is suggested to bring some dry food for today's lunch, and dinner can be resolved by returning to Dali Ancient Town.
