Go to Tianzifang in the morning to experience the life of old Shanghai people. From Tianzifang to the City God Temple, see the City God Buddha, walk on the winding bridge, and if you have time, you can also visit Yu Garden to feel the charm of the Jiangnan private gardens. At noon, when you are hungry, you can eat at the nearby "Old Shanghai Restaurant," which is a famous local Shanghai cuisine restaurant, originally named "Rongshun Restaurant," founded by Zhang Huanying from Chuansha, Shanghai, in the first year of the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty (1875). It is recommended to take the subway or bus for travel within Shanghai, which is convenient, fast, and economical. From Yu Garden to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, it takes about 20 minutes by subway. Take the Metro Line 10 (heading towards Xinjiangwan Town) from Yu Garden, and get off at Nanjing East Road Station.
